• We use thermal plates, no silver waste

  • All heat-set plants have Thermal Oxidizers that burn the chemicals exiting the dryers before exiting into the atmosphere

  • Added UV printing instead of additional heat-set printing, which reduces VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds)

  • All solvents are Low VOC

  • Waste inks are disposed of in an EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) approved manner or used for other processes

  • Plate processing waste water is pre-treated and disposed of in an EPA approved manner

  • We use inks that fully comply with environmental standards

  • Recycle:
-  Scrap/waste papers, including paper cores, cardboard and paper wrappers
-  Aluminum printing plates
-  Waste metals and waste plastics
-  Wood pallets
-  5 gallon plastic drums
-  Light bulbs
-  Batteries
-  Bottles and cans
-  Paint and oil cans
-  Inoperable computers, monitors and printers
-  Copier toner cartridges
-  Office paper

  • Control outdoor lighting with photo cells and timers

  • Turn lights and electronics off when employees leave for the day

  • Cognizant of what is sent to the landfill
